SPII designs and manufactures the PECD – Portable Emergency Control Desk, a compact and portable unit that allows operators to control and move a railway vehicle when a conventional driver’s cab is unavailable or in specific operational and emergency situations. 

The PECD integrates the main driving, control and monitoring functions into a single ergonomic unit, including onboard displays, control devices and interfaces connected to the vehicle systems.
