The Future of the Driver Desk

IntelliDesk is an innovative communication and wiring concept designed to integrate all driver desk components and subsystems simply and efficiently.

Displays, control panels, levers, pushbuttons and indicators are connected to a central CPU, which manages direct communication with the Train Control and Management System (TCMS). This architecture reduces wiring complexity, ensures clearly defined interfaces and simplifies onboard integration.

Smart, Modular Architecture

Each subsystem can be connected to a fieldbus unit and communicate with the TCMS through a single central master interface. The modular architecture provides maximum flexibility, allowing IntelliDesk to be tailored to the specific characteristics and requirements of different types of railway vehicles.

Predictive Maintenance and Increased Availability

Centralised component monitoring enables the early detection of wear conditions and potential faults. Predictive and condition-based maintenance supports effective maintenance planning, reduces downtime and improves operational efficiency throughout the vehicle’s entire life cycle.
